Using proprietary P2000H™ and enhanced conventional high-pressure die cast machines, the Alma facility casts transmission components, steering column housings and supports, front engine covers, brake calipers, and hydraulic pump housings and covers. Alma also precision machines these parts to the customer’s most exacting specifications. They fully machine 100 percent of the parts produced there. With an average of 18 years service with the company, the Alma personnel are an experienced, stable workforce. Through CONTECH University, that experienced workforce is incorporating Lean Manufacturing along with Six Sigma tools into its every day business processes.
