The Auburn plant is 100% focused on producing rack and pinion housings and is known as North America’s leading producer of one-piece rack and pinion housings.

Using enhanced high-pressure die cast machines, the Auburn facility casts one, two, and three-piece rack and pinion housings. Auburn also offers precision machining of parts to the customer’s
most exacting specifications. Currently, 20 percent of the parts produced there are fully machined.

Auburn is moving to incorporate Lean Manufacturing into its culture. Combining their Lean tools with all the necessary testing equipment at hand, makes Quality a robust part of the manufacturing
process in Auburn.
